I have been dancing since I was six years old. The quest to get good pictures of your dance is never ending. The ability to photograph movement is a rare talent and is hard to find.

When I first saw the pictures Richard took of my performance, I was stunned and couldn't believe what I was seeing. They looked like perfectly staged shots with everything in place, as if I had been posing for hours.

And yet, I was not - I was dancing, i.e., constantly moving and through the magic of his vision Richard was able to capture the most beautiful moments of my dance as if commanding the time to stand still at exactly the right moment while he took the pictures.

He attended a dance event in February 2025 where I performed, and he took some lovely photographs of me in a spectacular costume that had come my way by chance.
